The Westcountry Wedding Show, February 2013

I was lucky enough to be a Photographer at The Westcountry Wedding Show held in Plymouth, Devon on Sunday 24th February, and what an amazing day it was.
I was a little nervous to begin with, as this was my first ever commercial event as the Photographer. Its all about wanting to deliver good quality images that people (the client) will like, which is why I put so much pressure on myself, I am my own worse critic. Those nerves (if you can call it that) were soon gone as I began to relax into my environment.

Plymouth Pavilions was full with exhibitors, brides (and may I also add, a few grooms to be), parents and even children, all full of excitement with what the day had planned. The aisles soon got very busy with people trying little tasters of cakes and chocolates, having hair and makeup demonstrations, trying on accessories and looking through albums to name but a few.

I decided to cover the day from start to finish, to get a feel for the whole day. It was also good for me to have a walk around, seeing what the new trends were, and what was exciting new couples to be.
Photography, dresses, flowers, room dècor, cakes and services all seem to be, in one way or another heading towards the Vintage theme.
The highlight of the show for me, was the catwalk with beautiful dresses and models throughout. The whole show was so exciting. There was romance, fun and laughter throughout, which kept the audience thoroughly glued to the stage.
The finale to the catwalk was breathtaking, and as soon as Dirty Dancing '(I've Had) the time of my life' came on, I was won over, I really do love that tune, you can't help but tap those feet. And as you can see from the image below, they did the real dance moves too.
So all in all, a very productive day had by all. I hope you liked this, and you can find all of my images for this event on my Facebook page.
Thank you all very much ♥
