A real wedding at Scorrier House, Cornwall

Anna and Lester were married at Scorrier house just before Christmas, the day was windy, cold and wet, giving you that wrap up warm and cosy feeling which is perfect for any Winter Wedding

The day started at Anna's house in Porthleven where she was surrounded by her daughters, friends and niece. It was perfectly relaxed filled with smiles and laughter

Battling through the wind and rain we made our way to Heltson Methodist Church and was greeted by Lesters' Ushers who were dressed in traditional Cornish and Scottish Kilts

Lester was very much all about music and was part of Helston's Town Band, who were there not just as guests, but to play through the ceremony and on exit as the Wedding arch. Music did not stop there, we were also blessed with a piper and the three of the most angelic sounding voices I have ever heard

On leaving the Church we made our way to Scorrier house and Gardens for reception and evening entertainment, a family run country house and estate in the very heart of Cornwall. Scorrier House is an exclusive wedding venue, set in four hundred acres of private parkland and historic gardens. On entrance to the the Grand Hall you are instantly drawn to its sweeping double staircase which provides a breathtaking theatre to enjoy your time with guests.
